Dominicans support “Help Give Shoes” campaign

In support to the advocacy of Nestle Philippines to gain funds for the “Help Give Shoes” program that will help the poor children to have running shoes, St. Dominic College of Asia joined the 40th Annual Milo Marathon at the Mall of Asia Grounds, July 31.


Volunteers from the National Service Training Program students ran five kilometers along with Central College Student Council officers and The Gateway Group of Publications Editorial Board members. Celebrating its 40th year, Milo Marathon continues to evolve in furthering its mission of building champions.

SDCA started to join this run on 2009, seven ears of seeing how Milo marathon made a hige difference to the lives of aspiring athletes since its inception. There were five categories for this years’ marathon 3k, 5k, 10, 21, and 42k.

Apart from being a breeding ground for local talents, the marathon has also become a platform that empowers children Nationwide.
