Student organizations contribute to the improvement of the students’ wellbeing, academic experience, and leadership capabilities. Through organizations, they can meet fellow students of the same academic degree or of the same interest, thus developing their sense of camaraderie, confidence, and societal skills.
SDCA encourages students to join organizations and to participate in school activities directed towards a more rewarding college life. No student may be excluded from membership in any student organization on account of his/her race, color, creed, ethnic origin, disability, sex, age and religion.
Academic Student Organizations are recognized and affiliated with academic programs. These organizations are created to complement academic learning through organizing activities that would enrich the course offerings of the different colleges.
Educators’ Guild
The Educators’ Guild aims to unite and organize both Bachelor of Elementary Education and Bachelor of Secondary Education students through extra-curricular and co-curricular activities.
HRM Society
The HRM Society is an organization of students enrolled in Hospitality Management (formerly Hotel and Restaurant Management).
Nursing Student Council
The Nursing Student Council serves as the governing body of the whole Nursing population of the SDCA. The Nursing Student Council also acts as the representative of the whole nursing community to the Central College Student Council.
Psychology Society
The Psychology Society is the recognized organization of the Psychology majors. The organization aims to develop the students’ academic competence in their field of study, as well as to create bonds between students of Psychology.
Young Executive Society
The Young Executive Society is an organization that aims to promote and develop the skills of BSBA students through exposing them in extra-curricular activities that will familiarize them in management and administration.
Non – academic Student Organizations are for the special interests of the students constituted in assisting in the development of student talents, creativity and awareness.
Peer Help Movement
The Peer Help Movement aims to uphold leadership and development among students through psychological and educational means.
Tanghalang Sinag
The official dance organization of the school specializing in all kinds of dances, from cultural, to jazz to interpretative to hiphop.
Spiritual Formation Organizations enhance the spiritual life of the students inside the school.
Christian Brotherhood, Inc.
The only religious organization in SDCA, the Christian Brotherhood, Inc. aims to unite students in Christ’s teachings.
