The altruistic influence of the founders lives on within the family members seeing the community’s realities and opportunities to serve. This interest to reach out to communities was initially demonstrated by conducting civic activities. In 1994, the Dominga Ramirez Anico Foundation, Inc. (DRAFI) was formed and it continued conducting several extension services.
The DRAFI, in collaboration with the Philippine NGO Council on Population, Health and Welfare, Inc. (PNGOC) had initiated a project entitled “Non – Formal Education – Accreditation & Equivalency (NFE – A&E) for the Out – of – Scholl Youth (OSY) in Bacoor and Maragondon. The project had reached out to 1 000 OSY (300 in Bacoor and 700 in Maragondon) and enhanced their engagement in self – help and community activities. Moreover, DRAFI held medical missions, health teaching and awareness campaign aiming to reach out the underprivileged communities.
Over the years, the SDMCI and DRAFI ramified into establishing an educational institution, hence, St. Dominic College of Arts and Sciences (SDCAS) was established in 2003.
In June 2006, the DRAFI changed its name to the GregDom Foundation, Inc., to assimilate ideals and append the values of the fore founders – Don Gregorio and Doña Dominga Andaman.
