EUROPEAN JOURNAL OF TOURISM, HOSPITALITY AND RECREATION EJTHR is published three times a year and it is an international research journal. It aims to be a well-recognized European research journal in tourism, hospitality, tourism recreation and food service issues. EJTHR is owned by the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria (IPL) – Portugal and has its central office at the School of Tourism and Maritime Technology (ESTM). EJTHR is a project founded by GITUR’s members. GITUR is the Tourism Research Unit of the Institute for Research, Development, and Advanced Studies (INDEA) of IPL.

Journal of Tourism and Hospitality is an academic journal – hosted by OMICS International – a pioneer in open access publishing–and is listed among the top 10 journals in Hospitality. Each year research scientists have noticed a rise in the number of congresses being held in this field.
